Marwa Shalaby is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the National Research Centre in Cairo, Egypt, with a Ph.D. from Cairo University. 

She has extensive teaching experience and has conducted research in areas like: water desalination,nanotechnology, and wastewater treatment. 

Marwa has published over 90 research articles and holds several patents related to membrane technology. Her professional experience includes roles as a researcher and project leader in various international collaborations. She has led significant research projects funded by various national and international bodies, emphasizing sustainable development in water resources. 

She has received multiple awards for scientific excellence and actively supervises Ph.D. and M.Sc. students. Prof. Shalaby is also an invited/keynote speaker at numerous national and international conferences.
