Soh Fong, Lim is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Energy Sustainability at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Malaysia, with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council UK and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). She obtained her BEng (Chemical) with First Class Honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a PhD from the National University of Singapore, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning from UNIMAS. 

Professor Lim has played a key role in developing and coordinating engineering programmes, including the MSc in Engineering Management, MEng in Energy and Environment, and BEng in Chemical Engineering. She has led numerous research projects, secured intellectual properties, and published high-impact journals. Her research achievements include industry-funded projects, international collaborations, and joint PhD supervision with overseas institutions. Her research explores water and wastewater treatment, carbon sequestration, biomass, adsorption processes, and green technology. 

Through her contributions to engineering education, research, and professional practice, Professor Lim continues to advance sustainable technologies and the development of future engineering professionals.

• Defoaming of Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) Solution using Magnetic Activated Carbon/Biochar
• Exploration of the Bio-based hand washing soap for clinical usage
• Influences of Oil Palm (Elaeis Guineensis) Plantation on Soil Moisture Content and Groundwater Quality
• Solid Waste Characterization using Experimental & Analytical Methods
• Utilization of Sago Bark to Produce Magnetic Biochar
