The valuation and sustainable utilization of climate-related ecological products in Wuzhishan, the core zone of Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, are essential for regional ecological security. On the basis of the “Technical Guidelines for Gross Terrestrial Ecological Product Accounting” (GB/T 46869–2025), this study developed a value accounting framework for climate-related ecological products in Wuzhishan City. By employing market value, replacement cost, and travel cost methods as well as official statistical meteorology, remote sensing, culture/tourism, and electricity data from 2019 to 2022, three product categories in Wuzhishan City were quantified: climate provisioning products, climate regulation services, and climate cultural services. Furthermore, sustainable utilization pathways were proposed. The average annual total value of climate-related ecological products over the period was 27.26 billion yuan, equivalent to 26.42% of the city’s average annual GDP during the same period. Climate cultural services represented the greatest share (52.29%), followed by climate provisioning products (32.00%) and climate regulation services (15.71%). Among provisioning services, direct meteorological supply products, including freshwater and temperature, contributed most significantly (49.10%). The value of PM2.5 purification driven by precipitation accounted for the majority of regulating services (77.24%). The accounting system provides a quantifiable tool for transforming Wuzhishan city’s “green mountains and clear waters” into “golden and silver mountains”. This county‑scale accounting model of “climate elements → service functions → economic value” offers a replicable and scalable exemplary case. The findings contribute to valuing climate‑related ecological products, realizing regional ecological product value and fostering green, high‑quality development.
