Global NEST Journal and the CEST Conference Proceedings are now on one platform

We are pleased to announce that the Global NEST Journal and the proceedings of the International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST) are now published together on a single platform.

Until now, the journal and the conference proceedings were maintained as two separate websites. Bringing them together means that the full body of work published under Global NEST — journal papers and conference proceedings alike — can now be found, read and cited in one place.

What this means for you

  • Your existing links continue to work. Every address published in the past, including every DOI, will take you to the correct page. Citations printed in published articles, links held in academic databases, and your own bookmarks all continue to resolve, and nothing needs to be updated.
  • The conference proceedings are now fully searchable. More than 1,600 papers presented at CEST2017 through CEST2025 can be browsed by conference and by topic, or searched by keyword, title and author, alongside the journal’s own archive.
  • Nothing is asked of you. Authors, reviewers and editors will find their accounts, submissions and history exactly as they left them. No new registration is required, and no action is needed on your part.

Browsing the proceedings

The conference proceedings can be explored from the Proceedings page, where papers may be narrowed down by conference and by research topic, or searched directly. Each paper carries its own permanent address and DOI, exactly as before.

A note of thanks

Bringing two long-standing archives together, while ensuring that every published reference continues to resolve, has been a considerable undertaking. We are grateful to our authors, reviewers and editors for their patience, and we hope the result makes the work published under Global NEST easier to find and to build upon.

Should you notice anything unexpected, or have any difficulty locating a paper, please do not hesitate to contact the Editorial Office. We will be glad to assist.

Sincerely,
The Global NEST Editorial Office
